The Mongolian Taiga Adventure is the ultimate off-grid expedition through northern Mongolia’s boreal frontier — a vast expanse of Siberian taiga forest, glacial rivers, alpine meadows, and nomadic heartland that remains almost entirely untouched by modern civilization.
This multi-week journey takes you through three distinct ecosystems: the Khangai mountain steppe, the dense Siberian taiga of the north, and the high alpine zones bordering Russia. Travel by horse, on foot, and by 4WD through landscapes that few outsiders ever see.
Encounter brown bears, wolves, moose, reindeer, and the elusive snow leopard. Stay with Tsaatan reindeer herders, Kazakh eagle hunters, and Khalkha nomadic families. This is Mongolia as it has existed for millennia.
