Altai Tavan Bogd is the highest part of the Altai mountain system in western Mongolia. It is located at the border of Mongolia, China and Russia. The region is famous for its natural beauty, glaciers, snowy peaks and rich cultural and historical heritage.
The highest peak is Khuyten (4374 m). The region has the Potanin Glacier, ancient petroglyphs and Kazakh nomadic nomads. It is part of the national park “Altai Tavan Bogd”. This is a great place for travelers. There are opportunities to climb mountains, see glaciers, get acquainted with nomadic life and relax in nature.
